Chef Michael Pillarella, CEC
Dear Colleagues,
Most of you know me on a personal level as well as a professional level as being the chef at The Country Club located in Chestnut Hill, Ma. However, for the past 3 years I have started a small business in beekeeping. I currently have 16 hives, which most of them are producing honey. The land on which the hives are located on is NEVER treated with any pesticides, or any non organic fertilizers. By staying true to this, the honey is organic, however, a bee will fly where ever they is a nectar flow, so that is out of my hands. All of the honey that is produced is from wild flowers which makes it very floral with tons of locus flowers, clover, catnip, rosemary, lavender, and spice from dandelions, its really interesting.
I am reaching out to all of you to see if there might be of any interest in purchasing any for your clubs or personal use at homes. Currently the honey is in 5 different food markets, 2 convenience stores and 2 clubs, not to mention the personal buyers that have purchased it from me.
1# of honey is $14 (12 to a case)
12oz of honey $11 (12 to a case)
Let me know if you have any questions about the bees or if you would like to come by one day for a tour of them, I am happy to share what I know. Thank you for considering this product and I look forward to hearing from you,
Joseph M. Leonardi
